We offer Horse Knowledge & Care Lectures for Stage 1, Stage II and Progressive Riding Tests 1-6.

To attend the lecture series, please complete an application (available in the TES school office or online). Cost is $25 per lecture.

    Congratulations BHS Candidates!

    During Islay Auty's visit in November 2000, five TES students took and passed BHS
    Progressive Riding Tests 1-6. Here are the results: Gail Chodera* - PRT 1-6, Riding & Stable Mgmt.

    Valerie Hunt - PRT 1-6, Stable Mgmt.

    * After passing her exams, Gail Chodera was hired by the Los Angeles Equestrian Center as the Assistant Stable Manager of the LAEC!

    Islay Auty, FBHS, Clinic Hosted by TES

    Islay Auty returned to TES in late March to offer a week-long series of clinics to TES students and instructors. A special thanks from Patricia Kinnaman to instructor Kathy Matthes (who organized and ran the clinics) and Gail Chodera (her clinic assistant) for a very successful clinic.
     
    The following clinics were offered:

  • Riding clinics -- privates, semi-privates and groups
  • Horse of Your Own Clinic
  • Working Student Stable Management Clinic
  • Stage I Riding Clinic
  • Mock Stage I Exam
  • Auditing of riding clinics
