My name is Caitlin Steimle. I am motivated, educated and excited about everything to do with horses. I don’t really remember a time when I wasn’t either pretending to be a horse or actually riding one. It wasn’t long after my introduction to horses that I became an avid competitor. I started my career here at The Los Angeles Equestrian Center when I was only eight years old. I was originally trained in Hunters and Jumpers, but I also took a few years off in order to study other disciplines. I competed in Barrel Racing, Dressage, Team Penning and Eventing. At the moment, I am actively competing in Jumpers and Equitation.
Right now I am an Equine Science major at Pierce College. Along with my riding and teaching career, I hope to one day become a breeder.
I look forward to sharing my experiences, enthusiasm and knowledge with you. Nothing is more satisfying to me, than to see a child learn to become one with their horse, and to know that I had something to do with it.
